「勇敢小獅王」抬頭挺胸設置在新大樓門口，面對中庭樹林廣場，醒目的黃色塗裝坐在洗石子台座上。當觀眾站在小獅王面前，牠就會發出吼叫聲為大家加油打氣。獅子象徵聰明、機智、富創造力及活力，也代表堅定與自信；意喻每一位南崁高中的學生正面的人格特質。

The Brave Cub, painted with bright yellow and situated on a platform, stands proudly at the entryway of the new building facing the atrium plaza. Brave Cub will roar energetically to cheer people on, when someone is standing before him. This cub is a symbol for wisdom, wit, creativity, and vitality, and also stands for perseverance and confidence. The Brave Cub is representative of the positive characters fostered in each Nankan Senior High School.
