明察秋毫．理性思辨
明察《理性思辨》以曲線交織形成「邏輯思路」為整體造形架構，作品頂部不鏽鋼造形「洞察之眼」，以眼睛、幾何造形、動態裝置為創作元素，於基座頂端360°平衡迴旋，寓意眼觀四面八方，並將偵查與鑑識意象置入靈魂之窗八面體造形中，表現術德兼修、文武合一的警察教育核心價值。花崗石作品基座如同百年松柏四平八穩佇立深根，黑白相間的色彩配置展現「黑白分明」捍衛正義的理性思辨。
The overall structure of ‘Rational Speculation’ is an interwoven curved steel frame, which suggests “logical thinking”. The centre piece of the sculpture, ‘Eyes of Insight’, is a group of stainless steel geometric eyes, similar to a hanging mobile. They are pivoted and able to rotate 360 degrees, which suggest observing all sides, investigating, detecting and decoding the forensic evidence, and also represent exceling in both civil and martial virtues, the core values of the police education. The granite sculpture base signifies a century old pine tree with strong, deep roots. The black and white colour arrangement suggests the rational reasoning of defending justice.
