“Jen Ta-Hsien is an artist specializing in metal sculpture. Based on the artist’s concern for animals, the sculpture is inspired by stray dogs living in the innovation center.
The artist uses iron as material to shape its stretched body and friendly interaction with people, vividly showing the cute and funny appearance of the dog.
The creation deliberately magnified the size of the dog. The public can walk under the sculpture and view the stray dog from a different perspective. It also symbolized the zoom-out of the self-consciousness of human beings, which allows people to rethink the respect for the life of the stray dogs.”
