作品以校名「平」「興」兩字做為創作發想的起點，平為靜，興為動，以此連結游泳池概念：平靜的泳池，因為游泳者的划水、拍打、移動，水面上產生了波瀾與變化，游泳者悠游於動靜之間，無論此時的狀態是沈潛、浮起或前進，記得都要抬起頭來深呼吸，為自己補充再起的能量！
作品說明(英文)
The design concept stems from the name of the school, Pingxing. In Mandarin, ping means “calm”, and xing means “rise”, which are fitting themes for a swimming pool. Waves and transformations on the surface of the water produced by the paddling, treading, and motion of swimmers break the calm of the pool, as these swimmers alternate between movement and stillness. Whether you are submerged, afloat, or swimming, do remember to raise your head high, draw in deep breaths, and recharge yourself!
