大園高中冀望學子透過廣泛的閱讀展開對自身的探求,在勇於創新的積極性格內亦有靜心閱讀的空間。作品選於校園水池設置,利用作品與水中倒影的虛實境相映,表現校園生活等外在事物與學子內心自我省思的交互影響;而由水面向內延伸、無盡循環的圓,亦傳達校園發展和學生個人之間持續地相輔相長。透過來自各個時空的文字閱讀,青春學子展開如圓般無盡的自我認識旅程。
Dayuan Senior High encourages students to fully explore themselves through reading to become courageous innovators and adopt a proactive attitude while reserving a peaceful mind for quiet reading. This work is positioned next to the school’s pond. The reflection of the work upon the water surface represents the interaction between the virtual image and the physical form and symbolizes the interaction between external objects and events such as campus life with the students’ inner reflection. The infinite loop extending across the water surface portrays the mutual development of the campus and the personal maturation of the students. Through reading literary prose written in various places and times, our young scholars will be able to initiate an unending cycle of self-exploration.
