本件作品外觀運用形似蓄勢待發的大鵬意象發想，設計形似未來的航空飛行載體，造型經由轉化再組構的抽象聯想解譯，表現戍衛、守護的部隊精神意境，猶如「大鵬展翅、一飛衝天」的凌雲壯志與氣勢展現，象徵航空特戰部隊的新時代國防精神與理念。
The outlook of the work is inspired by the image of Peng, a giant mythical hawk, that is about to take flight. Its design resembles the form of a futuristic aircraft. And its shape is further transformed and reconstructed with abstract associations and interpretations so as to represent the army’s status and spiritual character to guard and protect its homeland. It demonstrates the aviators’ heroic attitude and powerful aspirations to soar with the clouds, just like “a giant Peng spreading its wings to burst into the sky”. Thus, it symbolizes the spirit and ideal of national defense upheld by ROC Army Aviation and Special Forces Command at the age of a new time.
