《軍旅記憶》是軍人驍勇善戰的象徵。雕塑的右翼，整齊劃一的阿兵哥，拿著步槍同心協力向前衝刺，保衛家園；而左翼，六輛坦克車與砲塔一同出征。一對《軍旅記憶》羽翼與《國防巨輪》，平均的分佈在基地上，勝利的V型呈現斧劈拉撐的力道，象徵滾動的國防之力與堅強的執行戰力，也象徵陸軍在大地上如羽翼般守護著臺灣人民的安全。

Military Memories is symbolizing the bravery of soldiers. On the right wing of the sculpture, soldiers in formation carrying their rifles, sprint forward to protect their country: on the left wing, six tanks march with turrets. The wings of Military Memories and Wheel of National Defense spread out evenly on the plaza, creating a spectacular “V” gesture to symbolize victory, and also to declare the power of the Army, with wings spreading over our country to provide safety for our people.
