Huang Shun-Ting’s works often use homophones/puns to create visual images and re-encode them, and explore the constructional system of “values” in society through the production and intervention of art. In dismantling the trajectory behind it, it gives us pause to ponder and seek the truth in reality, and reshape the unique cultural landscape of Taiwan. This work turns the canvas into a container to decorate the flowers and bows that are common in Taiwan with acrylic paint. In addition, it expresses the picture through “vivid painting” to manifest the literal connotations of “blossom full of flowers.”
