在時代經濟的變遷中，富岡雖無太大的變化，但是相對的回歸到另一種樸實田園的風貌，也是當今厭倦快速發展，而失去溫度的都會生活的人們，迫切飢渴追求嚮往的另一種生活型態，「慢活，樂活」，而富岡這個被人遺忘的小城鎮正是保有這一份珍貴、塊寶。

Exhibiting unadorned and rustic appearances, Fugang the little town remains almost the same amidst economic vicissitudes. The lifestyles of “downshifting, health and sustainability” behind such appearances happen to be what have been aspires to by those tired of the hustle and bustle of city life. The forgotten Fugang is exactly the little town that preserves such rare and valuable treasures.
